Recreational rowing at Falcon is just that - rowing for those who don't want to compete, or want to take a break from competing.

We are very fortunate to have two fantastic recreational boats, Red Kite 1 and Red Kite 2, part funded by the ARA, and we use these for outings in addition to our normal fleet which are also available for recreational use.

There are no set recreational outings - crews form from likeminded people and just decide a time to meet at the boathouse. Sometimes an outing is combined with lunch at a riverside pub or a picnic before a leisurely row back to Oxford.
