Learning at Falcon Canoeing Club 

Coaching is available year round at Falcon. The club is open to complete Novices (min. age 7) and strongly encourages coach development in all our disciplines for the benefit of all paddlers in canoe sports.

Courses and dates for 2008 will be added shortly.

Coaching is free to club members who have undergone the relevant introductory courses and are safe on or in the water.

Falcon Canoeing Club only uses Nationally Qualified BCU Coaches (minimum qualification Level 2) to lead coached courses. Falcon has a wide variety of coach disciplines available within the club however; Falcon does specialise in Placid water Race kayaking (Sprint and Marathon) and Placid water canoeing.

Venue: From Falcon Rowing and Canoeing Club, Donnington Bridge, Meadow Lane.

Prerequisites: Should be able to swim 50 metres in light clothing. 1 star award in chosen craft, kayak or canoe.

Children will need personal clothing that will get wet, towel, change of clothing, spare footwear, and waterproofs, suns cream dependent upon the weather
